Why We Love It

A quintessential New Hope scene, this painting is a marvelous example of the artist’s style. With his bold juicy brushwork and rich color palette, Nunamaker captured the warm sunlight glinting off the village rooftops in the distance and the clear water of the foreground river. This delightful painting would be a wonderful addition to any collection of Pennsylvania Impressionism.
